LL Bean Signature

LL Bean signature has some great affordable, high quality clothing but what really stands out is their footwear.  The Moc shoe above is a great all year casual shoe and its available for only $99.

Unstructured Blazers

An unstructured blazer is great for a date or a night out, when you don't want to look too formal or dressy.  The jacket above by YMC (one of my favorite brands) in gray is a very versatile piece of clothing that you can just throw on a t-shirt and look great.
Another great option, a little more expensive, are the jackets by Engineered Garments, one of them is the cotton one show below.

Velour

Velour is one of my favorite brands that some of you may not have heard of.  Its a Swedish brand that makes simple, functional clothing.  One of their most popular items is the Adan Chino, a great fitting chino.  I used to think all chinos were made the same before I tried these on.  The Adan Chino is a slim fitting chino, but if you like a looser fit another option is their Donny version available here.

Steven Alan 2011 SS

I took a look at Steven Alan's 2011 SS line recently and wanted to buy almost everything.  The new line combines some great wearable colors with very contemporary American styling that only Steven Alan can do so well. 
The workshirt above is one of the best pieces, it can be worn by itself or as a light jacket.

Monitaly Double Breasted Linen Blazer

If you haven't already heard, double breasted blazers are making a come back and they look nothing like the ones from the 80s.  I just bought this one from Monitaly for the spring and summer months ahead and it looks great, slim cut and fits just right.  It's available at the Run of the Mill store.

I started this blog after I realized how hard it can be for a guy to find simple, affordable clothes that make him look good.  You just have to go to the men's sections of most stores to realize that you can't buy more than half the things in there because they are simply over stylized - an extra pocket where it shouldn't be or weird colors and shapes.
This is when I realized its much easier to find stuff online. Online websites bring within reach brands that are affordable but maintaining the most important aspect of men's style - simplicity.
